Luke trained at RMIT in the late ’90s and the Victorian College of the Arts in the noughties focussing on painting and drawing. Luke moved on to teach art in secondary schools.
Luke’s artwork is a narrative of personal interests, grouping drawings, and paintings together into one story. The story is not defined which leaves his practice open for exploration.
Luke is also a collector of pencils and has somewhere near 3500. Some are new, a lot are old.
